Mary Milstead Laferriere, 76, passed away on February 2, 2014. She was born October 26, 1937 in Charlotte, NC. Mary was predeceased by her father, Henry Barksdale Milstead, mother, Ethel Gibson King and her stepfather, Marion J. King. Mary graduated from Robert E. Lee High School and the University of Florida where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. Mary was known for her generous spirit. Those she leaves to cherish her memory are her beloved husband, Roy Laferriere, her two sons, Paul Laferriere (Beth) of Kalamazoo, MI and John Laferriere (Allison) of Grover Beach, CA. The family gives thanks to Community Hospice for the care and support that was shown during her ALS affliction. Private interment will be held at Jacksonville National Cemetery.
