Edith Maxine Barrington, 77, of Middleburg, FL passed away February 29, 2008 in Wichita, KS. She was born to parents Albert M. and Annie Hatcher on October 12, 1930 in Johnson County, GA. She lived in GA and FL until in her twenties, before marrying a sailor and moving to CA. She returned to FL eighteen years ago and was a member of United Methodist Church of Middleburg. She was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Barrington; her parents; and by her sister, Hazel Fort. Survivors include: daughter, Sheryl (Bill) Savage; two brothers: Buford (Movel) Hatcher and Wendol (Edith) Hatcher; a sister, Betty Philips; and two grandchildren: Lia and Bri Savage. Memorial services will be held at United Methodist Church of Middleburg on Saturday, June 28, 2008 at 11:00 am officiated, by Reverend Roger Moore.
