Ruby Lois Padgett, 69, of Middleburg, FL passed away October 1, 2013. She was born in Little Rock, AR on July 13, 1944 to parents J.W. and Gladys (Stewart) Porter and had lived in Clay County since 1958 coming from Missouri. Mrs. Padgett had retired from the Clay County School Board as a bus driver with over 32 years of service and was a member of the Eagles Club. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Milton V. Padgett; her daughters, Frances and Vickie and a sister, Margaret. She is survived by her son, James (Lorraine) Padgett; daughter, Denise (Mike) Pettit; brothers, Mack (Nancy) Pratt, Paul (Sandy) Pratt and Robert Pratt; sisters, Peggy, Ann, Lynn, Sharon and Jessica; grandchildren, Christopher, Cody, Torie, Vinessa, Alexis, Noah and Austin; great-grandchildren, Zack, Ethan, Brook, Layn and Addie. Funeral services will be held at noon Friday, October 4, 2013 at Black Pond Baptist Church, 3644 Old Jennings Rd, Middleburg, FL 32068 with Reverend Charlie Hunt officiating.
