Glen Wesley Masters, 65, of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, passed away on Feb. 8, 2013. He was born on December 4, 1947 to parents, Glen Alfred Masters and Esther Booth in Jacksonville, FL where he resided his entire life. He enlisted into the United States Navy where he served 8 honorable years. He married the love of his life, Mildred V. Hall on July 18, 1969. Glen was an electrical engineer and a master mechanic at heart and was able to fix anything. He also enjoyed flying, fishing, scuba diving, riding motorcycles and the Florida Gators. He is preceded in death by his father, Glen Alfred Masters; his son, Steven A. Masters, and his brother, Fred W. Masters. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Mildred V. Masters; mother, Ione (Esther) Masters; son, Michael and his wife Dr. Elizabeth Masters; daughter, Amy L. Masters; brother, Daniel W. Masters; sister, Ellen C. Brenton and grandchildren, Emily, Hope, Collin and Alanna. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 14, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Friday February 15, 2013 at 11:00 am in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Pastor Larry Hall officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery.
