Marge Kemp, 64, of Middleburg, FL passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2007. She was born the youngest of seven children on August 26, 1943 in Beckemeyer, IL to parents Otto and Mable Hardekopf. She moved to the Middleburg community from Illinois in 1992 and was a member of the Clay County Church of the Brethren. Marge was preceded in death on July 30, 2007 by her husband of twelve years, Gordon H. Kemp, Sr. She was also preceded by four sisters: Alice Walker, Ruby Ashley, Ruth Evelyn Hardekopf, and Dorothy Welborn. She is survived by ten children: Jerry L. Stanley (Marta), Rita M. Stahl (Dennis), Ruth A. Lewis (James), Kenneth P. Schroer, Kristy Lynn Craig (David), Christopher Scott Kemp, Kathleen K. Gordon (Richard E., Sr.), Mary Louise Zingg (Russell), Gordon H. Kemp, Jr., and Dawn Ocasio; a brother, Don Hardekopf (Dixie); a sister, Bertha Dorman; nineteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm Sunday, December 9, 2007 at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, December 10, 2007 at Church of the Brethren with Reverend Charles J. McGuckin officiating.
