Hollis Oxendine, 84, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away unexpectedly June 28, 2012. He was born in Clio, SC to Willie and Okie Oxendine. Mr. Oxendine worked for Gustafson’s Dairy prior to retirement. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Geraldine Glisson Oxendine; daughters, Lynn Qureshi and Brittney Amerson; step-son, Joe Poole; sister, Lois Locklear; grandsons, Alexander and Aaron Qureshi; great-granddaughter, Haidyn Arnold; and his loyal canine companion “Baby”. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, July 2, 2012 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Reverend Ronnie Surrency officiating.
