Paul Saunders, 60, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2011. He was born on April 20, 1951 in Orange Park, FL to parents, Floyd and Joyce Saunders. Paul had been employed by FedEx and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed the outdoors, NASCAR and was an avid football fan. He was preceded in death by his father and is survived by his mother, Catherine Joyce Saunders; brother, George Saunders; sister, Cathy Patten (Joey); nieces and nephew, Natalie Patten, Melanie Nielson (Jeff) and Robbie Patten (Claire) and grandnieces and grandnephews, Chloe, Joey, Ella, Molly Kate, Jay and Max. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 11, 2011 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Rev. Jeff Crawley officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
