Valerie V. “Noni” Forest-Frei, 80, passed away February 13, 2011. She was born April 11, 1930 in Skaneateles, NY to John and Lillian Thompson. She had moved to Orange Park in 1959 from Norfolk, VA. Noni was a member of Orange Park United Methodist Church and loved “antiquing” and “junking”. She loved lighthouses, the water and the beach, fishing, driving down River Rd. in Orange Park and was a Dunkin Doughnuts “connoisseur”. Noni is survived by her daughters, Holly K. Forest-Dutcher and Jennifer L. (Earl) Flanagan; son, John T. Forest; their father, Jerome David Forest; grandchildren, Amanda, Richard, Megan-Mollie, Cassondra, Savannah and Bridgett. The family will receive friends at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 17, 2011 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Reverend Mark Becker officiating, Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery, Orange Park, FL.
