Donna June Drummond, 73, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away August 16, 2012. She was born in LaGrange, GA on February 27, 1939 to the late Pate and Hazel (McCullough) Prather. She had worked in Central Supplies and Sterilization at Putnam Community Hospital prior to retirement. Mrs. Drummond loved her family dearly and was a true animal lover. She loved fishing and camping and loved her church family at Shiloh Baptist Church where she was very active. Mrs. Drummond is survived by her husband, Leon Wayne Drummond; children, Rick (Darlene) Carlisle, Teena (Gary) Kierce, Lisa (Blake) Wernette, Karen Drummond, Tammy (Steve) Hall and Earl Drummond; brothers, Major General Gerald Prather, USAF (Ret) and his wife Carolyn, and David Prather; sister, Marianne (Rodney) Walker; 16 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home on Sunday, August 19, 2012 from 3:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday August 20, 2012 at Shiloh Baptist Church in Green Cove Springs with Bro.
