Raeford Clark, 89, of St. Augustine, FL, passed away May 18, 2012. He was born in Chapel Hill, NC on October 16, 1922 to Dennie Mack Clark and Bessie Mae Clark. Mr. Clark was retired and attended Cross Roads Community Church in East Palatka, FL and was a member of Pittsboro United Methodist Church in Pittsboro, NC. He is survived by his daughter, Dare Hall; sons, Dale (Gail) Clark and Donnie (Paula) Clark; brother, Sonny (Pat) Clark; sisters, Faye Stinson and Jean (Charles) Crowder; grandchildren, Kim Knight, Teri (Johnny) Smith, Randy (Tammy) Hall and Rev. Tim (Tonya) Hall; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 20, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Reverend Tim Hall officiating. The family will receive friends beginning an hour prior to service time. Mr. Clark will be buried in Pittsboro, NC following services there. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Clark’s memory may be made to either Cross Road Community Church, 117 Pine Tree Rd. East Palatka, FL or to Community Hospice of NE FL.
